On the program is an excerpt from Skin and Ornaments by Craig Hickman: “it’s a monologue about growing up African American, gay, and eventually a drag queen. He talks about his childhood, his parents, his sexuality, coming into the queer community. It's also very funny.”

An excerpt from I Remember Alec Mapa “looks at racism and homophobia, but it isn’t accusatory—it’s just honest. Alec Mapa is a comedian, and very well known in the queer community. He talks about being Asian American, gay and a performer—for instance, his problems getting cast as an actor. Again, it’s very funny, but not as edgy as some of the other pieces.”

Hello (Sex) Kitty: Mad Asian Bitch on Wheels by Denise Uyehara “is about a woman who is bisexual—which isn’t addressed much in the queer community, or anywhere else. She also deals with stereotypes of Japanese American women, with a lot of sarcastic humor. She’s like Margaret Cho—very ‘in your face’ and hilarious.”
