“Like any Shakespeare, it’s challenging,” Robison admits. “There’s always a cast of thousands. The language is challenging—my hope is that we keep the language intact but make the inferences accessible for the audience.”
“I am extremely excited about the cast. They’re just doing wonderful work. It’s a completely student cast, and we have student set designers, costume designers, student sound and makeup and hair—and they’re all doing just phenomenal work.”
“There are reasons Shakespeare is still around. This is my first Shakespeare here—it’s only my second show—but I think it’s important to do a Shakespeare every few years. There are still things to be learned, and things to be said about his work, and it’s just a great part of a student’s college experience to participate in a Shakespeare show.”
