A twist, a turn, a sudden revelation--the unexpected, the unusual: ten minute plays specialize in surprise. The seven stories in HSU’s 13th annual 10 Minute Play Festival are full of surprises.

They’re also full of desperate people. A tense encounter on a train. A strange triangle that spans generations.

A threatening man, threatened in turn by his own secrets. A man comically desperate to have his credit record disappear.

Friends can help: a young woman can’t cope with divorce, a young man can’t cope with reality—or the portents of 2012. Great milkshakes from Toni’s can help a lot, although the price of being desperately obsessed with them can be a little high.

Drama spins into comedy; mystery morphs into drama. All in just ten minutes each.
